MEET THE DESIGNER
LAUREN WALLACE
FOUNDER, professional INTERIOR DESIGNER, BID, NCIDQ
Since Lauren was a young girl, she has loved solving jigsaw puzzles and playing Tetris on the computer. She enjoys the process of putting seemingly random things together in order to create harmony and balance which is one of the reasons why she was originally drawn to the field of Architecture and Design.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2005, from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in Canada, Lauren achieved her professional Interior Designer certification from NCIDQ in 2009. She has worked for several award-winning architectural firms, interior design firms and home builders before launching her own design firm in 2016.
Lauren’s work celebrates natural materials, thoughtful layout of spaces and keen attention to details. She has a strong interest in rustic minimalistic design, which marries elements found in industrial, rustic and modern design.
Lauren skillfully employs a thoughtfully curated palette of details that is deeply inspired by the unique qualities of the local environment and its beautiful natural surroundings.
